In a notification, the Department of Higher Education announced that all classroom teaching for UG and PG in all higher education institutions will remain suspended from April 27, 2022.

Reportedly, all classroom teaching will be suspended from April 27 (tomorrow) till May 2, 2022 in view of the prevailing heat wave condition.

Other activities of higher education institutions (HEIs), such as examinations, evaluation, administrative work, research work, and so on, will, however, continue as usual.

The official letter stated that “teaching and non-teaching employees are required to remain present in their respective HEIs, as in the case of a normal working day, to perform the above-mentioned activities or any other activity assigned to them by their authority during this period.”
