When we set out to make PacketHogger, we started out thinking that we could release a proper app that would sit in the toolbar of any web browser that supports Safari. We quickly realized that we had no idea what we were doing and were making what is, in effect, a very simplified web app. Although we could have made a serious application that allows for compression of webpages, in the end, it’s better to be able to make mobile apps for our users, which we will still make for iOS and Android.
